Beat the heat with Banana-Date-Lime Smoothie

When you crave that unusual taste to make up for your dull day at work just fix yourself a date with this Banana-Date-Lime Smoothie. Right you are, lime for that extra zing in your date!

It is delicious, refreshing and most importantly nutritious. This smoothie packs in loads of potassium and antioxidants. It is fiber rich and filled with vital vitamins as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 3/4 cup chopped pitted dates
  • 1 lime
  • 5 cups of soy milk
  • 1 cup ice

Recipe

Blend the 2 bananas & 3/4 cup chopped pitted dates together. Then add lime(1) juice,1.5 cups of soy milk and 1 cup ice. Blend again and it is ready.

You can enjoy this healthy smoothie before or after hitting the gym or practically any time of the day when you need that extra rush of energy. I personally love it, I hope you would too.
